BlueDog Trainer Eric Vose.

Eric Vose

Eric has been around dogs and training for as long as he can remember. As a kid, he would go out with his Father or Grandfather to help them train the family dogs for hunting. In 2007 he decided to pursue his own training path by adopting a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Yogi, and started volunteering at the MSPCA. After a short while, Eric got a job at the Salem Animal Rescue League as a canine care specialist/adoption counselor/ dog trainer. It was his experience with these organizations that Eric developed the passion to help prevent dogs from getting into the shelter system. Because of this, he feels a special commitment to work with and understand fearful and aggressive dogs and help them stay with their families.

His career with BlueDog started in 2011 where he has been walking and training dogs professionally. Eric is one of our regular house sitters, he does private in-home training sessions, teaches group classes at BlueDog Academy, and during the day can be seen all over town walking dogs. He is currently working towards his Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed certification, or CPDT-KA.

Eric owns a rescued Malinois mix named Kenna and a little terrier mix named Woodford His talent with dogs is apparent as soon as you meet him and he’s a wonderful part of the BlueDog team.
